Your monitor is one of those devices that should be handled with care. The way you care about it will be reflected in how it looks like and how long it will serve you. Try to follow those tips to make your monitor last as long as possible:

• Be careful when you eat or drink near your monitor.
• Be careful while touching the screen. If you are not careful you might damage it by leaving smudges.
• Keep all the magnets away from your computer and monitor. They can permanently damage such devices, so remember to tell this to your children.
• Do not use wet cloths to clean it. Try to dry clean it instead. Wet cloths can damage electronic equipment in general. Water can be really harmful, especially if you are not careful.
• If your monitor stops working properly, check if the cables are properly attached to it. Sometimes cable might be loose. This might be the most common cause of problems that users have. Simply reattaching cables is a solution to most problems. Try doing it before calling an expert for help.
• Adjust the height of your monitor. If it is positioned too low and you do not sit up straight because of it, then do something about it. You can even put a few books under it to make it higher. If the letters are too small or too big, adjust the distance between you and your monitor.

I often discuss cars on this website, however, I have never had the chance to discuss in what parts of the world cars are the most popular. Allow Your PC to Hibernate

Every PC that has Windows XP installed, is allowed to hibernate. You can compare it to the way the plants in winter hibernate. They do not suspend all operations completely, but they use a lot less energy to live. The same can happen with computers. I usually have my PC running most of the time during the day, and if for some reason I decide to go outside, I set it for hibernating. By doing so, I do not have to close all the important documents that I have opened. I just leave my house, when the PC is in the hibernation mode, and when I come back, I put it in a normal mode again. By doing so, I save power, and my computer components will last longer, as they will get used up a lot more slowly. Hibernation is one of my favorite features in Windows XP, and I think it is a lot more useful than screensavers. That is because screensavers do not really save a lot of power, but simply look pretty.
